The theme of the conference was: Sociology and Immigration. The conference was opened by the Rector, prof. G. van N. Viljoen. In the picture are the new management of the Association. F.l. to .r. Dr. J. Strauss, Prof.C.D. Roode (Chairman), Dr. C. J. Jooste, outgoing chairman, and Prof. H.L. Crause.
